Ever since moving to CA 6 years ago, I have yet to find a dentist office that makes you feel comfortable and at ease from start to finish until I visited Center Plaza Dentistry. From the front office staff to the hygienist to the doctor, everyone was extremely pleasant, kind, and patient. I’m not sure how I missed this place for so long and wished I had known about them when I first moved here. They are so welcoming and gentle that I’ve transferred the rest of my family over to CPD. Excellent, thoughtful, detail-oriented, thorough, personable dental care. My wife, daughter and I all get our teeth taken care of at Center Plaza Dentistry, and the care by Dr. Jaimeson and Dr. Vivian, and by Vian the hygienist, and by their whole staff has been completely outstanding. Everyone is friendly and genuine, which sets the mind at ease, and the work has been very conscientious. I would highly recommend this excellent team!!!

My mom took me to go my first time, I had a couple cavities (basically my whole mouth 😭), my 3rd time I needed a root canal, practically painless. They even put on a movie for me. They’re so professional, friendly and it’s got such a homely environment inside. The work they do is actually helpful and you don’t need to get the root canal redone within 6 months (my dad had that happen on his last one at a different place) Be careful out there, these ones are legitimately the good ones

What a pleasure it is to recommend Center Plaza Dentistry, the office is a beautiful, clean, orderly practice with the latest technology in Dentistry Medicine and convenient to my house. I first met Dr Yin(April 2018) when I cracked a previously filled wisdom tooth back in April/2018. My family and I had moved into this area of Los Alamitos in 2016 and at this time I was still driving 17 miles north for continued visits with my previous Dentist until he retired at the end of 2017. A very worrisome position to be in when you have been with the same Dentist for almost 20 yrs. Needless to say, having to find a new dentist was a huge concern for me since I’ve had a very complicated and difficult Dental history that stems back and started when I was hit by a car with Orthodontic braces that became embedded in my gums with multiple soft tissue trauma. Many corrective and uncomfortable procedure followed throughout those hours, days, wks and years and almost 30 years later, I still have an overall aversion and anxiety of Dental work in general. I made an appointment and went in just a few days after. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who had all my paperwork necessary on a clipboard ready for me to fill out and kindly offered me water or something else to drink. A pleasant dental hygienist then introduced herself and explained to me the process of a panoramic Xray and then few more Digital Xrays that focus on the detailed of each tooth, an exam by Dr. Yin after all these diagnostics. I then met the Dentist, a very soft-spoken, beautiful smile (Dr. Yin) who introduced herself and with her full attention gave me the time I needed to explain my chapters of Dental Trauma/history and my current and urgent need. Very kindly reassured me what would follow, a full detail health intake with options of treatment that were explained all along the way as it was being done and my options moving forward. After all, was said and done on my first visit, I felt very comfortable with Dr Yin’s professionalism, she was patient, kind and caring. She gave me options and was respectful towards my budget at the time, offered me the Center Plaza In house insurance (which I was glad to sign up for) since I didn’t have any Dental Health Insurance and the ability to do my dental work at my pace and schedule. This made me trust her very easily and I knew I had found my future Dentist. I scheduled my procedure early am as I needed to go pick up my daughter from school at 3 pm and were very accommodating. Dr Yin was very relaxed in her work as she did my procedure which gave me peace of mind, she has a very gentle hand, I felt minimal to no discomfort. It was even followed up by a phone call the next day to make sure I was ok and not in any discomfort. Since this visit, I have been here several times and don’t DREAD going to the dentist. My husband now sees Dr. Hofkes (her husband) and is extremely comfortable too with the integrity of his work and also signed up for the in house insurance which has put both of us on a consistent schedule for our cleanings twice a year, a sure guarantee way to maintaining good dental health. We both have detailed plans (page pictured of MY plan of action) which are fantastic, as I know I can’t remember every single thing that was said sometimes on what tooth and my husband also has his which is so easy to revert back to for consistency. That was given to us after our first visit and keeps us on track as to what needs to be done/corrected and besides coming in twice a year for our cleanings, we schedule all the other work between those time frames at our pace for the current recommended treatment needed. I am so Happy with Dr. Yin. I can’t say enough about what a change(and a relief) it is to have good dentist. Not only do they genuinely care about their patients and their lives, their families, current health problems that may be getting in the way of coming in, they care about their staff too and that comes across in the whole dynamics of the quality of care given and you can see that when you come in.

This is by far my best experience with a dentist ever. Kind, thorough, honest, and happy to walk through any questions. I cannot say enough good things about center plaza dentistry.

Right off the bat, from the moment the receptionist picked up the phone till the moment I left the facility after my appointment, the entire customer service experience from Center Plaza Dentistry was AMAZING! Literally EVERYONE I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive (receptionist, technician, hygienist, dentist, etc.). The facility itself was well-decorated, well-lit, very cleanly and very professional. I’ve literally never had a more positive experience at a dentist’s office – and honestly, I’ve never even had a bad experience at a dentist’s office before, it’s just that this was a cream of the crop experience. I sincerely hope that whatever insurances I have for the rest of my life will be accepted at their office, because I don’t want to go to any other dentist ever again.

I can’t say enough good things about this dental office. The cleanliness, professionalism, courtesy, flexibility and friendliness from all the staff is amazing! I had a crown that popped off on a Saturday afternoon and was in a lot of pain and discomfort. I called the office but they had just closed so I was connected to the after hour call center. The dentist office called me back immediately and Dr. Yin turned around after she had already left for the day and came back to her office to help me. I was so touched by her caring soul to come back on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to help me. I usually see her husband Dr. Hofkes, who he too is always over the top with his kindness and expertise. I had gone to the same dentist since I was 3 years old so I am beyond thrilled to find a dental group that cares about their patients the way they do and treat you with such kindness and professionalism. Thank you again Dr. Yin and the entire staff working that day, you all saved me when I was in a lot of discomfort!

Just had my first visit with Dr. Hofkes and Dr. Yin!!! The office is extremely modern and professional. They have all the latest technology and the nicest staff! Becoming a new patient was super easy due to their friendly front office team and digital forms. I needed to get a filling done, but Dr. Hofkes made it quick, easy, and PAINLESS! This is a top notch office and you cannot go wrong being a patient here! I’ll definitely be coming back! Thanks again!

Center Plaza Dentistry is the best dental office I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the facility is clean and organized. Dr. Hofkes is kind, patient, and gentle, and he takes the time to make sure you understand all of your options and the procedure itself. I just recently moved in the area and have been searching for a nearby dentist I can trust. I’ve tried a dentist at nearby area whom I had very unpleasant experience with as they were clearly just in it for the profit so I literally walked out of the office.. But I guess the Dental Gods pushed me to call Center Plaza and pay a visit. Boy was I thankful because Dr. Yin and her team are the best! The office had a warm ambience. Every staff in that office are all friendly and you get that genuine vibe from them. After assessments, Ailey thoroughly explained everything and truly wanted the best for my plan as I was deciding if I should enroll for dental insurance or not. Her advise was very helpful and clarified all the questions I had. Dr. Yin and her back office team were extremely gentle with the procedure that I almost fell asleep. Also Dr. Yin isn’t pushy at all and she’s conservative with her approach on the plan of care which I appreciate because you can tell she just truly just want to treat your teeth for what it truly needs and not for the buck. Nowadays it’s hard to find a dental office that you can truly trust matched with a friendly vibe and I am extremely thankful for this team. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to switch or establish with a new dental team. The best!
